  • I'm finding The Snail by Ircamlabs very useful. Desktop price is $99, $2 on iOS.

It's especially useful if you have an iPhone.

Have you played Part-Time UFO? Well worth the $4. It's from HAL, the developers of the Kirby games back in the day. Total Nintendo feel.

    Thats a good one!

  • Save up a few more nickels and get KQDixie? I’m not even the biggest FM fan, but this app has a lot of potential. One of the best values for iOS synths.

You could get some IMessage stickers or some extra credits for Candy Crush

  • You could add a few more monetary units and get Logic Pro X for your Mac.

App economy has changed a bit.

There are not so many choices for customers who have only a few bucks to spend in these days. Maybe you want to rent an app for one month or even two months?

Apple’s App Store has just turned 10 years old and buying cheap apps is a nasty, old-fashioned behavior in these days.

While you think about it you may spend some money for:

    • Sunrizer XS (2,99)
    • Yellofier (2,99)
    • Pixitrackers App Bundle (2,99)
    • Vividtracker (2,99)
    • Bitwiz (1,99)
    • Sampletoy (0,99)
    • Loopmaker: Beats (0,99)
    • Swarplug (0,99)
    • Tic Tac Beatz (0,99)
    • Chiptunes Pro (free)
    • 8Bitone+ MICRO COMPOSER (free)
    • Beat Machine / Vaytricks (free)
    • Beat-Machine / Primitive Digital Software (free)

There is an Alltheweb.zip floating around you can find a link on thesoundtestroom YouTube video on KQDixie. Good luck finding that patch as there are so many patches to sort through. You’ll definitely find some FM bass in there though.

Also, I just tricked KQDixie to work MPE style which is neat, I posted about it a couple hours ago.
