I got it this morning and have been playing with it all day. Highly recommended!

Does anyone know how to get Chordion working with animoog? Does it require the midi in-app purchase. I've gotten Chordion to work just fine with Nave, Magellon and iSem, but it doesn't produce any sound from animoog.
.
Ok thanks, I thought maybe I was doing something wrong. I actually bought it to work with animoog, but at this price you can't really go wrong. Hopefully the developer fixes the issue.
.
But it also doesn't work with Eden in nanostudio (gives a similar name selection option in the midi section) while Magellons midi works fine with Eden.
.
I bought this too and it's really great
Only big issue is trying to use it with cubasis. Lots of hanging midi notes and if I record midi in to cubasis, it always crashed when I go back to cubasis from chordion to stop recording too - so double bug. Bummer!
This is an empty session, 1 midi track with midi in, playing any instrument, internal piano, IAA, etc. on an ipad mini 1st gen, 7.0.4 iOS, 1.7 cubasis. Anything similar from others? I've posted on steinberg forum too.
I posted in another thread about some chord controllers not working.
I've only noticed it recently so not sure if IAA is messing with these or if its an ios issue.
I can't get Cubasis to read the chords from
Midi mind, chord explorer and the Nave chord function thing...
Pro chords and chordpolypad are still working.
Hi,
This is Ben Kamen from Olympia Noise Co. We are aware of the Animoog issue and have submitted an update that should fix the problem. However, I've noticed that Animoog often needs to re-fresh its MIDI input if Chordion has been restarted. That doesn't seem to happen in other apps.
No matter what app you are using make sure to use Chordion's "Virtual MIDI" out and choose "Chordion" as the input in your synth. I've had reports of people getting confused by this!
I haven't heard about the Cubasis issue before - are other controller apps working okay? That would help to determine where the issue is taking place! Sounds like it might be a cubasis issue with receiving multiple notes at once if this is happening in other apps as well.
Thanks for your support! Feel free to contact be at support at olympianoiseco dot com if you have questions.
Ben
I suspect it is a cubasis issue as I've just tried it and got the same result, whereas no,problem with BM2
@benkamen I like your app, not alone because of the beautiful designed user interface. Unfortunately, the german localization is somewhat funny. Not as funny as in Rhythm Studio, but it's in the same league. I don't really understand why app developers don't stay with english language if they can't ensure a proper localization. In opposite to OS X, inside iOS we don't have any option to change the language per app.
Hi all,
Version 1.31 is live now. Animoog should work properly, but please let me know if you encounter any issues.
@klangsulfat I had no idea! Are you interested in helping me improve it? I don't speak German so it's hard to know if the translators do a good job or not. If you want to send me more info about it please contact me at ben dot kamen at olympianoiseco dot com.

This update just fixed everything. That was fast. Thanks!

Ha! Well to be honest I had already submitted the app fix last monday when someone else alerted me to the Animoog problem. Still, Apple seems to be a lot quicker to review apps lately. It used to be closer to 2 weeks!
Glad to hear it fixed everything!
