Not a joke. For about a week I would go to bed with that razor sharp sound still in my ears. It went away but tinnitus is a serious thing and at my age precautions are wise.
Hi. I picked up iMono/Poly and Stockholm. I think I will buy one more Gadget during the sale. What is the your best Gadget? Stockholm is my first non-included Gadget.
Raw audio wave forms can totally fuck your shit up man. In fact it is a good idea not to wear headphones when doing sounds design. A raw saw wave without any filter can rip through your ear drums like paper. Do not fuck around with sound design.
I got tinnitus from using a music app with earphones, almost constant ringing ever since.
@kinkujin Depends on your music style. Bilbao if you want to import you own drumsounds. Abhu Dhabi for importing and slices your own loops. Module if you want real piano's, etc.
My personal choice would be iWavestation.
Yup.😒 they have plenty of developer resources. There’s no excuse. When you use Gadget, “if only, if only” becomes a mantra. Trying to create something from scratch and trying to do it with the limitations of midi editing in Gadget can drive you nuts. I pretty much only use Gadget’s access to the sounds.
I couldn’t resist a rant the other day in another thread about common practices with file handling. I spend half as much time getting things in and out of apps as I do using them.
Bilbao is necessary imho.
The other ones depend on your style/likes.
I use lexington (ODYSSEi) a lot and madrid has an awesome standup bass. If you play keys you should have module. If you like strings you NEED the kapro string upgrade.
