Bm3 velocity
Anyway to turn off pad sensitivity ???
I don't want to have to press with all my strength to trigger these samples 😂😂

The quickest way , if you can’t adjust your controller, would be using a midi utility (I have Midiflow but I am sure there are others).
BM3 has a setting for each pad called “fixed velocity” ,which according to the manual
FIXED MIDI VEL: If set to ON, the fixed velocity is also applied to incoming MIDI notes received by the pad.
But it doesn’t work.
Only workaround is going to the modulation page of the sample and disable gain from note velocity mod . It works
Wish there was a quick global or per bank setting ....
When you have the sample selected, go here and change the setting. I usually keep my samples in layers, which forces me into using the keys mode to play them. That way I can change the settings of every sample without having to adjust one by one

But does it work ? I did another try and it still the pad listens to velocity
Yo this works!! Thank ya guys !!
It works for me using pads on my novation launchkey. I don’t think it works on actual keys. If your midi device has pads and is set up to follow the pads in BM3 then it should work
There is no difference between pads , keys on hardware . They are both controllers sending notes with velocity info
But do you mean I have to use the focus feature of BM3 ?
I know they’re both sending midi info BUT if you configure the pads in BM3 in the settings, it doesn’t matter the midi info that’s being sent. It’ll play what’s shown in the pad view. I wish I could explain it better.
From my understanding, if a sample is applied to a pad it can played in different pitches with key focus on or with a keyboard. When I cut my samples, I save them to a single layer so they are under one pad. From that one pad, I can change the settings of every cut sample in that layer including note velocity
It worked for me work my beat step !
