iFrettless Bass 🎻 iFretless Guitar 🎸 iFretless Brass 🎺 iFretless Sax 🎷 4 Amazing Apps

I love these apps and strangely this is the first time I decided to use them all together along with Drum Session, just to see hear how they sound as an ensemble.

Old style workflow, Audiobus and Cubasis, recording the audio in, lovely.

There is something very organic about using the iFretless apps that really appeals to me in an unstructured jazzy kind of way.

  • So it looks like iFretless Bass can nicely be played with an external controller. Does it respond to midi PC messages?

Also, conversely, iFretless guitar looks like you kind of have to use the touch interface to play it properly. I would love to have a guitar app that allows me to supply a strummed rhythm guitar using an external controller (and preferably responds to midi PC also). Do you (or does anyone) know of such a beast? Ideally it should sound exactly like the real thing, but close counts here as it would be back in the mix usually.

  • @MikeyP not sure if I got what you need... 2-3 apps come to mind...
    Guitar Capo

  • Echo guitar

  • Guitarism:

And maybe some honorable mentions: Jam Maestro, OMGuitar Pearl Guitar, etc.

Thank you sir - I will look into these. Playing via the touchscreen isn't really an option.
