You absolute ****er Syntronic

Grrrrr, pardon the language and rant but i’m Fuming.
I purchased the full Syntronik bundle a couple of weeks ago and spent hours each day slowly going through every preset and marking my favorites.

I’ve just launched it and they are all gone - I haven’t even done anything: didn’t upgrade the app, didn’t upgrade iOS. Stupid app has just randomly decided to lose them all.
I absolutely hate you Syntronik, I wa considering some OSX purchases, zero chance of that now.

    That is not the normal behavior, of course. I have not heard of this being widely reported so I'm fairly sure this is not something that has been happening across the board. Which makes me hopefully that the IK Support team can assist you and see if there's a way to figure out exactly what happened and how to take care of such an issue.   • No problem, but have you your favorites back? If not, I would still consider giving the team a shout to see if there's any hope to get them back. Rants can be cathartic either way, I will definitely agree with that :)

    This is such a nice answer, and really shows you understand your costumers. Bravo to you individual managing the account.

  • Just checked that I am still seeing the favorites that I had marked a while back (I do).

    However, in the process I had to run "Restore Purchases" - this happens now every time I start the app, which is way too forgetful for my taste!
    (On the plus side I could tell that the Deluxe version is still on sale for 49.99 - but why the non-deluxe at the "normal" price of 79.99 - this is confusing.)

    I stumbled upon Syntronic somehow, searched, found a post with ****er on the title. Obvious choice for proper and serious reference. Didn’t check the post date.
    I wonder if the really nice him/her from NI is still around. Maybe Is retired by now.

  • I can understand how frustrating this can be. And in such situations rants comes out automatically. But I also think you should act with cool minded.

    You can contact the app developer for more support. Visit the app developer site contact them and they will try troubleshoot the problem. They will try to understand your problem and will figure out solution. There is a hope to restore all your data.

    Or the product rep can understand your frustration and be really cool about it. Not take it personal, rather the opposite and be emphatic because he/she is probably a musician too and has been on the same boat. I think that’s the case here. And it was a beautiful moment.
