Need a bit ‘o help with SynthScaper creating scenes
I find SynthScaper quite interesting but it has a rather non-standard file system. I’ve sent samples to it from AudioShare, but can’t seem to find them. Somehow I have some samples in the Users folder but when I SET it in an oscillator level - I see the name but can hear no evidence of the sample.
This is a tough app to learn - it would be great if somebody could point me at a good tutorial vid (and somebody running up and down the keyboard showcasing presets is NOT a tutorial!) where some of the finer details explained. The app is giving me a serious headache 🤕

Perhaps this is of some help to you. I'm relatively new to iOS. I'm sure someone else will offer even more advice. If you aren't already familiar with them, these might help you move forward a bit until someone more knowledgeable chimes in.

When you select your osc the sample is shown under the layers. So in my screengrab the sample is a wav I recorded from the Troublemaker app. If you then click the sample name it will take you to the sample file manager.
@LSV - thanks for the links - it’s the kinda stuff I like - should be helpful.
@LSV - just got back from Motion Soundscape site - great examples on all the soundscaping apps. THANKS! 🍻
Glad to hear it. All of his apps are cool but complex & it's easy to get lost. We need someone to make some straight forward video tutorials. Cheers!
Synthscaper interface is very complicated. Try to understand the design section if you want to create quick presets without al the complicated tweaking. The design section is a randomizer and also supports an auto-tuner for your imported samples. Works great once you understand how it works.
