Does Cubasis have a tab to transient function

This would help a lot when recording from Inter Apps and theres a latency delay in the audio going into Cubasis. With tab to transient I could edit to the exact start points in the audio clips
Thanks in advance for any info

  • As far as I know, no...

Manual trimming is quite OK when the time-line is in 'time' mode(tap on the bars/beats to toggle) since the editing will be sample-accurate. When set to bars/beats it locks to ~1/192 even when the grid is turned off making it quite annoying to do precise editing...

@Samu yes i see what you mean about the trimming still snapping to grid when set quantize to OFF and still snaps to a grid when I changed to “time” mode

In the 'arranger view'(where you see the events) it always snaps to the smallest division (when moving the event or handles) with grid off even in time mode but when you actually 'edit' the the waveform (double tap on the audio event) the ruler in the edit window changes between time and bars & beats and the grid settings will only be active in bars/beats mode.

So in bars & beat mode the handle snaps to the grid and even if 'off' mode. (The grid is 1/192 in 'off mode').

While in time mode the handle can be freely moved and doesn't snap to anything.

For me Cubasis works quite well for mosts tasks.

Ok cheers thats a good workaround but iam multi part editing i managed to get the multi clips bit more on time after the iaa audio recording latency
