Mpe parameter settings...
Is it possible to set the values for mpe , for example when I slide up this key in synth one, the filter frequency knob is relative to where I am on the key.... However I want to define it so that half way up the slide has the frequency wide open rather than half way, the seaboard is more comfortable to play on the bottom half imo and is a pain to play accurately on the "white keys" once you get into the "black key" territory.
I'm pretty sure volt gives you these options but I haven't really messed with it yet to find out

The CC value for slide is CC 74 by default. Synth One doesn’t do MPE yet and all the Seaboard block does for non-MPE apps is just send that CC value on the different MIDI channels it’s configured to send on. Once Synth One becomes AU we can do a DIY setup to make it sort of have MPE until it’s finally included.
The Roli Dashboard editor doesn’t let you make a custom curve like the one you mention. I also checked in MIDI Fire and couldn’t find anything. The StreamByter in MIDI Fire or the standalone app can probably do what you want to the CC value, but I don’t know how to use it really.
I find I don’t care much for the “slide” parameter. I like to play both in the upper and lower regions depending on how things are happening, and the “slide” makes it harder to just do whatever I want.
Thanks for the info, and I agree, the slide is good sometimes, but not for everything like it's set up by default...i just wanna play without slide on the filter haha but rather have it control attack or delay or something, kinda like tardigrain lets you do
The most advanced synth on the iPad so far when it comes to MPE is SynthMaster One I think.
I think that should let you assign slide to attack / decay etc.
On the Mac I think it’s probably equator, which I’ve purchased but haven’t had the time to get into yet.
