Integrating vocals into korg gadget
Hi, does anyone have any recommendations for recording vocals into korg gadget.
I like to make structured songs verse chorus etc and having a guide vocal really helps me build the song. I would like to record into gadget even just a rough guide vocal.
I’ve tried importing vocals recorded elsewhere, but it’s really time consuming and fiddly lining the vocals up correctly without a timeline, and getting the tempo correct.
Does anyone have any best practises for this. Or is it to cumbersome to do this in gadget.

If you turn looping off you should be able to record with Zurich over the duration of the entire track, AFAIK (I haven't done this myself).
I would only use Gadget for scratch vocals though - I write songs in Gadget, with scratch vocals added to the individual sections, but then I export stems to Auria for final mixing.
Can’t you just record direct into the Zurich gadget?
Awesome. I’ll try that method. Thanks 👍
Yes that’s possible the way described by @richardyot this is how I’ve created this 100% Gadget made track:
I did try that but I found it very fiddly. But after Richard saying that he does it effectively, I’m going to go back and try again.
@Janosax Nice!!!!! Very cool. I take it you recorded the sax into Zurich ? Did you record it in sections or jam a one take ?
Thanks! Sax is recorded in Zurich. Saxes sections are recorded in loop mode, sax solo is recorded in one take from track’s beginning to end, with loop mode disabled. Works perfectly, you will be able to monitor yourself with Gadget effects too.
