Axon 2 / Quanta : MIDI
Can someone help me on the IAA versions of Axon and Quanta.
MIDI in and out.
Channel selection.
Not seeing it and causing headache.

Hosting them in AUM as AUv3's will take your head-aches away so why suffer in 'IAA Hell'???

Is the 'boost' equally impressive as the 96db 'cut' meaning I can do insane boosts of 'unheard' frequencies if needed?(but it does not have any kind of 'exciter' to create frequencies from zero or does it?).

Cubasis is awaiting a fix(fullscreen AUv3) and currently AUM, ApeMAtrix and BM3 are the 'proper' hosts for it.
Garageband should get an update soon too.
I do have some store credits left but the iOS market is unpredictable since we don't know what's cooking.

I have Quanta on the Ipad and the demo on Mac. I feel I get a rich sound on the Mac but it is probably speaker dependant. Presently having fun with another granular synth “Dust” by Soundmorph though sadly not for Ipad yet. Early stages but makes some soundscapes. Extremely experimental though not for the faint hearted. Step learning ccurve but gets easier with experimentation. If I get chance will post ome of my Scapes.
I had faith for auxon getting a damn random feature. I really like two presets but beside that I cannot get my mind around this app. I loved the videos and the artificial intelligence neuro network fm synth drum concept - but it never worked out for me, unfortunately
Has a bit of an unfinished feel about it. Hopefully it’ll get some polish once they’ve finished with Quanta.
They still need to fix midi control... When used as standalone, it can send midi notes, etc. but you can't midi map controls. When it's an AU you can midi map controls in host, but it won't send midi notes...
Would be an amazing rhythm generation monster in AU form if they would could add the ability for AU to send midi... Then you can map a controller to settings or map cc from an lfo to settings and generate cool, evolving rhythms...
So close...
