Nice stuff !
Drop some bass and some percussion and bam you gotta banger!
Dope use of quanta !
Thanks...if you‘d like to add bass and percussion, I can send you the wav file of the improvisation. I‘d be curios to hear that...😊
In down to see what I can do !

yeah, nice one. quanta is so good at that. long live the granular synthesis
if you have synth master 1 you find some cool basses with added ARP, these would sound great beyond this.
Making ambient is such fun. I most of the time forget the time... enjoy quanta!
Thank you, @david_2017 😊
@reasOne, you should have mail 😊
Nice sounds. Well done!
got it man ! Ima work on it soon... Been working two weeks strait 😐😐😐
Execellent! Anyone here tried DUST VST by Soundmorph? Yes I know its VST and not IOS. It looks and sounds amazing.
Hadn’t heard of it, but just checked out the vids, and looks amazing. Pricey though.
Yes pricey but does seem to create soundscape on a different level. I want a “Spacecraft” world I can design from the inside. Quanta is great and like Tradigrain allows me to create unique sounds but lacks the ability outside of midi to construct worlds. Any thoughts?
Nice world to inhabit. I'm also looking forward to hear BnD added to see how I feel about it with that additional context. This makes me want Quanta... only Tardigrain comes close in my current line up of Apps. I'll bet others I have bought can get close but damn if I know how to get them to out out some magical ghostly sounds like this.
I think the piece showed great restraint and seeing the pads and keyboard triggers makes for a great instructional video on making ambient tracks. The events roll out over long time frames and are not too cluttered. Good to see that modeled in a video.
Looking forward to the results 😊> @McDtracy said:
Thanks a lot...Very glad you liked it. Also thanks to all others who took the time to watch it 😊
I own Dust and it‘s by far my favorite granular tool.
BUT it is buggy and developers seems not really interested to fix bugs. So beware....
I still love it since it can do some outstanding things.
I got it for €79 intro a while ago and so far i got my value out of it.
Oh, and it will melt your CPU!
Very accomplished!
Nicely done @Martinj
Is the Akai LP8 decent/easy to set up w iPad. I saw Amazon has them for $40 at moment.
Is the velocity sensitivity on the pads any good?
Thanks a lot, @RedSkyLullaby 😊
The AKAI is totally easy to setup and works great with the iPad. Velocity is ok, I usually use it to play melodic percussion sounds (Handpan, Mersenne, Vibraphone...) and that sounds great. The only downside is, that you can only set it up via PC/USB.
Really enjoyed this
You mean ipad set up can only be done on pc/usb or that bluetooth just doesnt work with pc?
@RedSkyLullaby You can only assign notes and CC Numbers to the pads and knobs via PC software
@zeroG thanks a lot 😊
Too true. We need a forum for ideas and techniques for Dust. Maybe even a preset set share if that could be done.
