Get them into AudioShare and from there open them up in Cubasis.

  • In AudioShare you can select where to import from see pic below;

  • Then simply drag them into Cubasis from the Files app. Works great!

Could you please clarify files app? Is that an additional app that I need to download?

  • Apple has added a "Files" App in IOS 11. Are you running 11? If not, disregard and pushing
    with AudioShare.

  • Oh dang I'm still on ios9 and stuck there with an ipad2

  • I thought there was a way to get my files on iTunes and doing it that way

  • The additional app for use as loop file hub would be Audioshare...

  • Hi,

See Files app support explained in our Cubasis 2.4 tutorial at around 7:50 minutes:

Next to the Files app, there are many more options to importing files to Cubasis such as Air Drop, iTunes File Sharing, Dropbox etc.

    Best,
    Lars

  • I don't have ios11' I'm on 9....is there a work around so I can get the files app in ios9 that would work with cubasis?

  • After days of trying to figure this out I have come to the conclusion that my only solution is putting my loops in iTunes so I can access them in cubasis, but the problem is figuring out how to get them in iTunes which I have yet to figure out

Cubasis has a 'wifi-drive' feature built-in so if your iPad and computer are on the same network that might be worth a try? (You can enable the Wifi Server in the Settings->Mixdown/Share Tab).

After it's enabled you can use your browser on the desktop and upload files directly to Cubasis.

  • Invest in the AudioShare app as others have stated. It is a MUST HAVE, especially if you are not on iOS11 yet.

  • Hi Rockalternative, iTunes is a great way of getting sound in and out of Cubasis and many other apps too..
I’m not sat at my computer at the moment so I’ll try explain from top of my head..
1_Turn on computer (Mac or pc) and then plug your iPad in.. I use pc, so I plug my lightening to usb.
2_itunes should automatically start up.. if not then start it up manually.
3_Once all has settled down, select (or click on) the small “iPad” icon..somewhere on the top bar (top right I think !)
4_ Now select APPS (again, i think it across the top somewhere)
5_You should now see all the apps you have that support iTunes file sharing.. scroll down to Cubasis and click once on it
6_Now you should see 2 or 3 tabs at the bottom_ LOAD and SAVE.. select load and a window/folder from your pc/Mac will open up..
7_Navigate to your samples folder, select/highlight one or more sounds, click OK and they’re now in Cubasis.
8_Shut down iTunes, unplug your iPad, load up Cubasis and look in your sounds folder, they should be there so long as they’re WAV, MP3, aiff and such.. my advice is to stick to 16bit 44k WAV..

Hope I’ve remembered right, any troubles, then let me know.

  • Gut it figured out, thanks guys....I discovered you can import from inside cubasis from either AudioShare or drop box.....by theory thru AudioShare you should be able to import an entire folder but for me when I did that it was not effective but even though I had to import one by one I still got the job done....so I'm good to go, thank you for being patient with me.

@therockalternative try iFunbox Its free- This is excellent and for me better than iTunes because with iFunbox which you install on your desktop you can then browse into the folders and import to your ipad whatever files you wish and you can import multi files at once to your ipad (batch import) which you cannot do with Audioshare
