I just got it and the "instrument" is unlike any interface I had access to in my current App mix. The Roli Seaboard 3D App comes close but this has so many more real instrument sounds and not just the synth types.
MPE support can make bends go past the standard MIDI 2 1/2 steps which is worth $15
just to have that Roli Seaboard like control on the iPad surface.
It's also the first app I've used (I'm not into using PAD's yet... still a MIDI keyboard guy) that I want to lay the iPad on my lap and use both hands to play. Nothing on my MacBook can touch this... this is the promise of a surface-based interface which I'm typically cursing and wishing the keyboard was not consuming GUI screen real estate.
It also saves a lot of pain that learning to play the guitar entails with the blisters and deadening of the finger tips which doesn't help me with those iPhone DAW interfaces.

I’ve bought yesterday GeoShred Control for 6.99 € (sale price), and it works amazingly well with Roli Noise app which is free. GSC needs to be set with MPE output and poly mode. Should work really well with GarageBand too, as Roli Noise has AU too and GB has MPE support/recording.

Interesting. Never considered doing this. I ended up uninstalling Geoshred bc I thought it wasn't great at playing with others.
Just tried a few things:
Geoshred control works perfectly with ROLI Noise AU loaded in AUM as AU. Works also well with other AU.
Works well too with AU like Model D loaded in GarageBand. Needs Midiflow adapter in and out in Audiobus to route properly midi to GB.
However, can’t control Roli Noise as AU in GarageBand, don’t know why. AU sound stops, have to load it again. Seems like a bug. Or Midiflow is not MPE?
So it seems to me that GSC can be used with nice Roli App in AUM, we can even load AUM as IAA input for GB for example and record Roli Noise audio. Or it will also works well with any non MPE AU inside GB.
