[SOLVED] MIDI routing question: AUM / ModStep / Rozeta
Hi,
I’m trying to arp a sound I have hosted in AUM, and I want Rozeta to receive data from AUM Destination, so it would arp from ModStep’s piano roll.
I had it set up to receive data from AUM Destination channel six, where the MIDI data is.
The routing matrix suggested that the only output from Rozeta to SynthMaster One was channel seven, so I changed the channel on Rozeta Arpeggio to channel 7 to reflect that. I thought that as long as it was receiving AUM Destination from channel 6, as I had it assigned in AUM, that things would work swimmingly. They haven’t, sadly. Am I missing something?

UPDATE: I am a dummy. The Midi filter on SynthMaster One was previously locked to channel six after a previous attempt at a different strategy. I locked it to seven and now it is receiving the modulation from Rozeta, which is receiving its data from the AUM Destination on channel six.
False alarm! I’ll keep it up for the other novices to learn from my mistakes. :P
Nice work. Thanks for posting that you solved AND what the issue was. I think you can edit your first post to add “[solved]” to the title.
No biggie! I am a fan of the "learning experience", warts and all.
