I am timid when it comes to distortion but know I should get over it to get more warmth.
Ech. Hate it for guitar. Brittle and just ... blechy. To each his own I guess.
Could be useful for other stuff though.
[edit] much, much better at low gain (below 25%).
I use SaffronSaturator as my main distortion. Warm Distortion is nice too.
