Neo Soul Studio source bug
Hi guys! first post here....thanks for all the resources!
I'm having trouble to play Neo Soul Studio through Midiflow (or any other virtual midi source)....the app doesn't receive any midi
When I check the source It doesn't stay put
Can you guys confirm it's a bug of Neo Soul or am I doing something wrong

Hi - tell us more and I will see if I can replicate the problem. What is your source (keyboard or sequencer) and your host? Are you running Neo Soul as AU or standalone?
Try using it as an AU, if possible.
As standalone mode, I also get the disappearing check mark when I open the sources, but I am able to play it through midi. It is like it clears the selection when you reopen the sources tab.
Also, check in settings to make sure the audio device is correct. Maybe try with the internal KB, and also toggling on debugging mode.
I get the weird non stick midi source, but it playing fine regardless.
I’m a keyboardist building an iPad based rig. I’m using standalone...I just bought Imidi Patchbay and It’s working fine with my other apps: Ravenscroft, Galileo, Sunrizer, Moog Model D. Except for Neo Soul Studio not showing on Imidi Patch bay as an external, neither receiving midi through a virtual port. I really love the sound of Neo Soul Studio but the midi implementation is not very good. Any ideas? Thanks
Thanks for the tips. I didn’t try as AU.... don’t have AUM or AB. Tried the other tips with no success..... but thanks anyway
You could try in GarageBand, using it as an AU.
Or just try the free Sequencism app. It can host AU plugins too.

Sequencism is working much better than expected. Not only solve the Neo Soul issue... now I can load all my AU at once! 3 apps and my perfect rig is done!
