Does Modstep have an audio editor?

Always had an interest in Modstep not installed it as yet -

  • Modstep is unique in the iOS landscape. But it does not have an audio editor. It has a sampler, which will allow for nondestructive trimming, but it would be best to do your audio editing in Twisted Wave or something.

I like the way arrangements are done similar to an Akai MPC sampler am i right? Column based sequencing ?

    Each column is an instrument
Each row a song section if you will, intro verse, chorus
And the basic song mode arrangement is to have your parts, your row of patterns, and specify the number of repeats of that row in the scene button at the right. By default they are infinite. The number of repeats will vary according to the length of the longest pattern.

But ya, I edit audio for it elsewhere. It can trim samples but that’s about it. Modstep 2 teased more audio capabilities but no details akaik.
