Done suggesting to Apple:
Added a comment to the above bug report as under:
Done again with a new bug report!
If they decide to do it, they would decide which format jack.
Bug # for MIDI jack: 42696285
Bug # for USB-C jack: 42696330
45 bugs got submitted in less than 5 minutes to Apple - on a weekend! See how many bugs Apple has?
No, it is not incremental value of 5 for each bug submitted because my earlier bugs submitted are numbered like 42639223 (GarageBand iOS Export as MIDI missing).
There is always another bug!
absolutely correct, really kills the plug and play option.. also my old gear irig mic, irg guitar, blue mic etc has been made redundant due lack of headphone output to listen ....also if u wanna play your iphone songs at your buddys place, well no adaptor no play
If true, these guys at Apple are a bunch of goofballs. What's their philosophy behind removing it? Just to have a sleeker package with one less hole?
Selling AirPods and dongles.
Lol. The amount of people that use music apps is so minuscule compared to normal users.
So you say we are not normal?
I would estimate the demand for a Hello Kitty version of the iPad Pro to be 50000 times higher than the demand for a MIDI jack.
This dude has a point.
First leak of the new iPad Pro´s.....
So I guess, 'Pussy eats Pop'
Meanwhile, the reverse is also true: 'Pop eats Pussy' XD
Apple's response:
Strange! This is also a hardware issue but they have reviewed and closed it. It's unclear what they are going to do about it (maybe, they would consider it? ):
No response, yet on this one:
My submission of bulk bugs in 4 single tickets were closed by Apple saying I need to resubmit them individually:

Okay, re-submitted the hardware feature requests about USB-C / Lightning Port anyway here:
