I have a connector like this but it's got the USB instead of the hdmi, is it possible for this to work with hdmi from tv into my iPad with a USB? You r do I have to pay the extra $50 for this one?
Um ... how is that going to help? You’re still going to have to look at the iPad screen to touch it in the right place. Only now you’re going to have to look back and forth from the TV to the iPad screen to see where to do it.
Now, if there was a iPad mouse, that might make sense.
How about a big magnifying glass that's placed in between the iPad and the user?

Just for a couple of dollars, it's so much cheaper than an iPad Pro !!
LOL, I've found these ones too:

You would need the HDMI adapter for $50. The USB variant is for Camera connections (getting photos into the iPad) and is often used for MIDI over USB devices.
The HDMI adapter mirrors the iPad screen so you still touch the iPad screen. It's a good cable for classrooms or making Video recordings or watching netflix with the iPad as your gateway.
Getting an Apple TV can also be used to mirror the iPad to your TV over WiFi.
Using a magnifying lens over the iPad is a great idea if you have a free hand to see the small details.
The appletv solution is useful and let you use the usb for soundcards and midicontrollers.
@therockalternative : A 12.9 iPad Pro , perhaps? I have one . And Cubasis and Gadget are now optimized for it .higjly reccomemded.😀
