Anyone dug in to the new improved preset functionality yet? I’m a little concerned I’m gonna lose patches or do things in an overly long winded way. Would really appreciate if anyone can ‘idiots guide’ the following, thanks!

    • save a preset from standalone to AU. (And Vice Versa?)

    • get a preset from phone to iPad.

i haven`t figured out how saving a preset in the standalone shows in the AU... tried but I don't see them.

from iphone to ipad -I do not see any sharing icon/cloud icon beside presets - also tried a long press on preset name but nothing.

so I gave up and bought Quanta the next day and have been saving presets there. I hope I'm just missing something with the Tardigrain update - cause I really do like it...

It’s not obvious but this is how I figured out how to copy from standalone to AU.

    1. In standalone if it is a previous patch then save it again. In the load menu swipe left on the name and select Share. It then shows a an empty menu with a cancel button for some reason. Probably a bug.
    2. Two files are now created in the files app in the tardigrain folder - the preset and it’s associated sound file. Drag and drop both of these files onto the AU version and you have loaded the preset. You also need to save it again.

it is possible to share presets from the main app to AU now but a bit awkward. But it's much better at creating presets in the AU, so that's much better workflow for me.

For old presets in standalone, you have to resave them to get a slide to left share option.
But you'll also get the files appear in on my ipad of files in Tardigrain folder.

So using drag and drop you can drag and drop both the sample and preset into the AU to get the copy of the preset.

    Not ideal but better

edit: ah beaten to it :)
