    I still am not 100 on the export of work and loops vs entire song and the methodology of finish and playing live recording in the app.

    Here is a cut and paste of my step-by-step instructions for the export process from about a year ago. I don't think it has changed since then. HTH:

    How To Export From Beathawk To Dropbox:

    Export is a two step process. First export your project to disk. Then export from disk to your cloud service (iCloud, Dropbox, etc.) . Export to disk is done from the Song area. Export to cloud is done from the main Track/Pad/Pattern area.

    Preliminary Step: First make sure Dropbox is installed on your iPad and enabled in Beathawk: (Browser->tap three little bars at top of Library bar->iCloud-Import File->Locations->More->Enable Dropbox with slider).

    1. From the Song window, tap the EXPORT button. Choose your option. (Choices include: Export, Export Multi, Export MIDI, and Ableton Live Export.) This exports your project to disk.

    2. Switch back to the main window.

    3. Tap Browser

    4. Go to the User Library -> Exports folder.

    5. This is the important part: Tap with TWO FINGERS on your project folder and then choose "Zip Directory."

    6. Two-finger tap on your Zip file and you (finally!) get the option "iCloud - Export File."

    7. Choose Locations->Dropbox.

    8. Choose a Folder on your Drobox, then choose Save to "Folder Name" (at the bottom of the screen).

    Can you share a pointer to your DP or hardware based Projects?
    Your IOS catalog is so good I'd love to hear what you've been crafting over the last 30 years.

    Thx. A miscellaneous hodgepodge of stuff is posted here. The earliest (I’m Wanting You) was done on 4-Track cassette in the 80s. The most recent was from 2014 (Collide-A-Scope, a remix/collaboration with Todd Rundgren). Others range from classical guitar to Broadway to electronica. A lot are short product demos I did for various companies (NI, Roland, etc.) back when I was writing for magazines like Electronic Musician, Home Recording, etc.

    Impressive credentials. Can't wait to work through all 16 and see the various styles in the portfolio.

    Todd Rungren is a very talented... His interview on the WFT with Marc Maron podcast was a really fascinating survey of the music business over the last 40+ years. He gets a lot done and still makes art.
