How would I sync Ableton Link with my Ditto x4 pedal?
I have a Ditto x4 looper pedal it has midi in that can be used to sync the tempo. I'm just not sure how I would get the tempo provided by Ableton Link into the pedal.
If anyone knows the combo of apps/hardware I would need, I would appreciate you letting me know.
If it matters, these are some apps I have that may (or may not) be useful in this setup:
AudioBus
AUM
MidiFlow

Nice, I already have a midi usb cable connected with my CCK. This may just be the piece I'm missing. I'll give it a shot when I'm home from work.
AUM can send a clock also directly to your midi interface
Not sure about Audiobus, but maybe, and MidiFlow can generate a clock but it's not driven by Link.
I think the simpliest and more stable solution would be AUM...
There used to be a PERFECT app called Midi Link Sync... Thankfully I have it so I can still use it, but it was pulled for some reason.
I found Link to MIDI to be poor. Jittery, glitchy, and crash prone.
MIDI clock out of AUM, especially to hardware, is just about perfect in my experience driving my hardware like DD-500, etc.
