Korg module and gadget question (ps: it’s in sale)
Hello i was looking that today is the last day of 50% korg sale, and i was wondering if ka pro orchestal dreams (10 dollars expansion) works in gadget app. Its suppouse to work, or at least i understand that reading that
We have released an update that adds three new expansion/sound libraries, "SCARBEE - Classic EP - 88 M", "KApro - Orchestral Dreams", and "KApro - Dreamy Synths" to the high-definition mobile sound generation application, "KORG Module". It is now possible to play an even wider range of high-quality sounds on a mobile device. You can also use it with music production app KORG Gadget for iOS
But i don’t found any video thar confirm that, and i don’t know how it work, a new gadget probably not, one of korg module gadget add all the new presets? Maybe just some of them? Anyone could confirm that today please?

I know Doug has reviewed the Triton Best pack so have a listen and then decide - it persuaded me!
Triton is pretty decent, I don't have the Dreamy Synths, what I've heard was too cheesy for my taste
(Van Halen's 'Jump' sound for example)

Based on Korg’s previous sale tactics, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them extend the sale. They seem to always do that.
Triton expansion is a good expansion to purchase. Very versatile with a great choice of additionnal sounds
I just gave me the 28 minutes on the headphone. There are few sounds maybe 5-13 patches I like but will I ever use them in a track? I don’t know. I will think about it in the next hours before the sale ends...
A little sidenote, it’s quite funny when Doug try to play „natural instruments“ like guitars, Sax or flutes or even choirs. These are not synthesizer... 😎

I agree with you, this pack is full of commercial stuff which will not fit my needs. Very cheesy...
So, I think I may will stick with just the two IAPs I already own - The Ivory Grand and the Orchestral Dreams.
Both are quite nice using in Gadget. 👍

Well, do you prefer presets, or building from scratch? Dreamy Synths has some nice preset sounds. Triton I'd say is more for nostalgia, but maybe you'd get some surprises out of it.
@trrracker KAPro Symphonic works in Glasgow. It sounds f-ing incredible. Nab it.
Scarbee and the orchestral dreams are really nice IAPs. All will show up in gadget iOS but wil not be available for gadget for Mac. I just bought the desktop version of the scarbee piano after getting the module version.
I already have all gadgets, the 2 cards expansion of im1 are worthwhile? Same question for wavestation expansion (i bought gadget yesterday and don’t have time to try all them today, this is the reason why i’m asking about wavestation, im1 and korg module expansion, to know which could apport something different, maybe even the presets or so similar presets are included in one of gadget that i bought haha)
@ruggedsmooth maybe you already know but is possible record anything that you have in ipad in logic or other daws if you configurate it properly. I know, probably the workflow is better if you have the gadget collection plugin and the others packs that they sell. But i saw a video in youtube where the man teach you how to configurate logic and ios device as audio imput, with 1 chanel audio another midi, at the end if you have something in your ipad recorded just with put play button. The desktop daw will record it in an audio track and another midi track which you can modify.
This is my “plan” to have the music app that i buy in the desktop.
@trrracker Well mate, definitely go all in for the iM1 and iWavestation expansion packs. Technically, you can build your own patches in the separate iM1 app to import and build a patch from scratch in Milpitas, but since I treat iM1 and iWavestation as romplers, it's just easier just to have 1000s of patches to select from so I can focus more on programming other synths from scratch. I'd say the investment is definitely worthwhile.

@trrracker , if you like iM1 and iWavestation you will love them with the expansions. There are so many useful sounds. I also highly recommend to buy these expansions. I have them all and I don’t want to miss them!👍

IM1 and the iWavestation are one of the reasons why I will skip the two Synth Packs Dreamy Synths and Triton Best in Module. I think I have already plenty good synthsounds in Gadget I like! 🎶😊

@jwmmakerofmusic @chandroji thanks i will follow your recomendations. From module i think that i only will buy orchesta, the other one that i liked was 80’s electric pisno and vintage organ but i’m not pretty sure about them, i just like the audio demo haha.

@jwmmakerofmusic do you have trition pack? I was watching soundtestroom videos and i like the acustic guitar preset. Which acustic guitar and electric guitar, do you think that are more similar to a real guitar. I compare the video with im1 and sound like trition have better quality or at least is more similar, but maybe is just the youtuber that played so good haha
