It's also abandon-ware. Save your money.
I wouldn’t call it that. These guys worked their asses off when the app came out. Super-responsive. KRFT has tons of features and it’s not like anything else on ios.
KRFT is awesome. If I were more desktop/midi focused it would be huge in my workflow.
Depending on how BM3 goes midi wise it could be sweet though.
It's a lovely app and worth every bent farthing of the 1.99 you can pick it up for currently...
would buy again
Amazing value for $2. Ridiculous really. Buy it and play with it and have fun. Heck, you can even turn the lights out if you want.
$2 dollars holy crap! A true iOS masterpiece for $2
Seems like they could break it up into a series of AUmidi plug-ins and make some Brambos bucks. Ah well. Hope folks still buy bunches, because they did work hard, and it still works fine.
YES!
Worth every penny
Still have hours of fun with this amazing app
Go for it !!!
Great app, buy it.
Worth every penny get this awesome app!
I rarely use it (I am an impatient bastard), but it is beautifully designed, and much much deeper than it appears.
Absolutely!
Beautiful and unique design.
Hopefully at this low price more people will get it and encourage the Dev to continue developing this app. Really nice dev too!
I’m sure the dev has said they’ve already moved on to something else. I think its a nice app but I hardly use it because I found it not so friendly to program or get midi into it. As I recall they were going to try and make that part easier and then development stopped.
Everybody loves the app, nobody i speak to ever actually uses the app, but everybody loves the app, besides that, IOS 12 is around the corner and buying in to any app that currently has no support is a fools gold, even if it is on offer, in this case we can assume safety (I have checked and KRFT runs fine under IOS 12)
The app itself was ridiculously underpriced when released and as a consequence now has a lot of things missing that would have made it the ultimate live tool, instead it is just an interesting concept, this could easily have been a fully customisable Playground type app, that would have been very special.
I used it pretty hardcore for a couple months and had an NI fueled laptop plan for it, but once BM3 and Cubasis 2.+ hit, and AUs became such a bigger thing, the ipad for ipads sake went way up in stock for me and those plans went right out the window.
However, if someone is simply an app nerd it is worth the experience/brain dump of just experiencing it. Like I said, if I was a midi/desktop guy it would totaly have it’s place in jam sketching. Hooked up to a desktop daw, (Live?) spending a few days making a template or two could easily be the foundation of a fast and furious spotanenous album.
Spot on.
