DM-1 and Loopy

edited December 2013 in General App Discussion

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me out? I am now having trouble using DM-1 as an input with Loopy HD. This really bad for me as these two are pretty much the start of everything I do. I have been quite protective of updates but unfortunately a recent hookup to iTunes has updated all three apps (including Audiobus) to their most recent versions.
DM-1 works when launched through Audiobus until I launch loopy when it cuts out the sound from DM-1. Any sound from loopy works fine.
Any advice, or similar experiences or known issues? I have an ipad 4 on 6.01
Cheers

Edit: I ve fixed this. I was stupid, the update must have changed my monitoring settings.
I'll go back in my shell now...

  • This happens to me often. Simple solution whenever you're getting no sound from an input app in AB slot is to load an app into the AB effects slot - dont need to launch the app - as soon as you select something you'll hear your audio start.

  • I've had the same issue and have resolved by turning monitoring off and back on in Loopy.

  • Check your input monitoring setting in Loopy.

  • Er, yeah. What @moonwolf said.

  • Turn on "Headphone monitoring" perhaps? ;-)

Seriously though, does DM1 have some way of forcing Loopy to switch headphone monitoring off? Because I constantly have this same problem, and it seems to only happen with DM1.

    Thanks for your replies.
It was as you all suggested the headphone monitoring.

I think because it was working ok with other apps I was led to think the 'problem' would be solved outside of loopy.

    Thanks again
