Best OSCILLOSCOPE app?
Anyone have recommendations for a reasonably priced/free oscilloscope app that I can hook up to external gear??
Comments
Does it need to be Audiobus etc.?
And by the way:
Very satisfying.
SignalScope X by Faber,
Sonic Tools by Rikii Systems (sponsored by ads)
And? Any of those good? Looking for big clear simple to hook up to external equipment.
The latest update to apeMatrix includes an AUv3 oscilloscope that can be used in the effects-slot in any AUv3 host.
Yeah I just saw this. It’s an option. Haven’t bought it yet.
Thanks. Signal scope x is pretty much what I was looking for. Changed to black color and full screen.
Nice
Ok amendment here
I have an old iPad 1(iOS 5?) and a 2(iOS 9.3.5).
Any oscilloscope apps that will run in those?
I have both oScope and Onyx Oscilloscope running on my iPad 1. I can't promise but I guess that an older version running on iOS 5 should be downloadable after purchase.
My fav would be Onyx, but oScope may be sufficient depending on what you want.
Thanks I’m trying a bunch here.
So I need some hardware other than the camera connection kit to make these run with external gear yes?
If you need DC coupling, you can hack almost any cheap, class compliant USB audio interface by removing all high pass filtering at the audio input. To be safe, I'd keep a resistor in series and limit the input voltage using diodes.
Some kind of audio-interface wouldn't hurt...
