How do you share AUM presets?
Thx
Comments
Two way that I use. Either long press on the preset that you wish to share and select ‘Share...’ or use the Files app - AU,M presets are to be found in On My iPad>AUM.
Simple - however if you have recorded audio files within the project and subsequently access them using the File Player input node then you will have to share the folder with the audio clips in. This is located in AudioShare in the AUM Recordings folder - the folder will have the same name as the AUM project. It all has to be done manually I am afraid. AUM could do with an ExportProject option which bundles the two folders in a Zip file. That zip file could be sent to AUM, extracted and the folders located in the correct locations.
@ageezz excellent info! Thank you. I always miss the long press functions.
You can also share it as a part of an AudioBus preset. Just load AUM into AB anywhere and save+share in Audiobus. Handy part with this method is that AB hosts the preset on their servers and it gives you a shareable link right away. No need to upload it to Dropbox or something. Not sure if the AB preset also includes audio files loaded into AUM or not.

@syrupcore thx. I ended up sharing them in a ZIP on Dropbox.
