SFZ sampler instruments import in Synthmaster One iPad?
Although the pdf manual describes how to import SFZ and WAV/AIFF files into the desktop version and the list of differences suggest it's possible in the iPad version, the app store description only lists wavetable import.
Anyone knows how to do it, or if it's possible at all?

Resurrecting an old thread .... anyone ? @rs2000 did you ever solve this ?
I remember the last answer from the developer saying that the iOS version does not include all features of the desktop version, unfortunately sample import was affected.
I ditched it when AudioLayer came out. Actually, since Drambo got the new wavetable oscillator recently, SM One hardly gets any more use here.
Thanks I am searching for an app that can import sfz didn't realize I wanted(needed) one until after the last BF sale for Audio Layer. smdh $30 is a bit much for SFZ import. @rs2000 any suggestions for sfz import ?
AudioLayer isn't just about SFZ import. It's about being able to use multi-velocity sample instruments over 2GB in size easily on an iDevice both standalone and as an AUv3.
There are many cheaper alternatives that can load sound fonts into RAM but they won't stream from disk.
@rs2000 yeah I get it but I try not to have apps that overlap. Currently I have BM3, NS2 (obsidian) Cubasis 3( mini sampler) and really just looking for SFZ import.
Thanks for the info !
Apparently, World Piano by Taqsim does it for free. It's a listed feature. I just haven't figured it out. It does work for sf2.
Thanks but its subscription based hard pass for me
I thought the subscription was just to unlock all the sounds. I’m currently using the free version and it’s AUv3. Even the importing works as well.
Edit: That said, I’m also looking at Audiolayer. Had the app for a while but hadn’t used it. Might as well figure it out. I remembered it being a lot of work, but here’s hoping it’s been simplified with the updates.
Sure it can be a lot of work to build your own instruments but at least it's possible.
Most people are not ready to invest this much time and they'd rather purchase ready-made instrument libraries instead.
What did you find complicated? If the samples are named with a simple convention (see the wiki for details), AudioLayer will automatically set up the velocity layers and zones.
Oh, it was less the actual process and more of making iOS shortcuts to behave nicely.
