    Absolutely first class @Cib !
Today I got a new Sennheiser Headphone und your Track was the first I’ve listen on it.
    It sounds beautiful, really! 🎶😊👍

May I ask you which Apps you was using?
    Very inspiring!

I think this is a piece of music even our Synthony Composer @LinearLineman will like...😎

  • I will check it out @chandroji !

  • @chandroji was right. I loved this. Great use of the sound palette. What apps did you use? Very curious about the horns and strings, and, of course, the voice. Beautiful @Cib. Great work and production. Would want to hear more in this vein.

  • Is that the Sopranotron (Caitlin Downie) App in use?

Lovely ambient piece. Thanks to @LinearLineman for pointing out the new work. I've been busy creating fresh Conspiracy Theories all day and almost missed this one.

We need to stick together because...

That is not Sopranotron @McDtracy. . Tho I love Caitlin's beautiful face, the voice is weak. Weak, weak, weak! Not like this one.

  • Very good. Now how and with what? :)

Would very much like to see the beginning of the film it goes with....and then: What. Happens. Next......

It seems you have some talent😀
    Congrats!!

Maybe it's the "beta" CastratiPlayer AUv3 App to be released with the "iCastrata iPad" (no G-Spot or even a Female Audio Port) next week. Just a pretty, pretty face. Apple seems intent on eliminating all Sexual Characteristics.

    Oops. Wrong thread. My bad.

  • This is amazing and showing off where iOS music production can take you! Wow! Thanks for sharing!
I would second the request, which apps did you use here (and which daw :-))

It does set the bar pretty high for an IOS Music Production. I ran Shazam on it and it's not in their database so it looks like we have to accept the fact that really good recordings can be created using these buggy tools.

Wouldn't you like to see one of these being made over the course of days? I could learn so much and really slow @Cib down. I'd take notes and publish clues on how it's done. Musical Magic I call it... Sorcery.

This is not made with iOS only. I mainly use mac and iOS and often even forgot to mention if i just use one synth or just iOS or just mac since it‘s just all music.
This is a hybrid...mainly mac but also iOS sound sources.
I also often use iOS apps but mainly never use FX there now since i can‘t live without my favorite reverb B2 and delay Replika XT.
But i made 100+ of similar tracks with my iPhone only and 2 albums with similar style where most of the magic happens trough the great Alchemy app and it‘s wonderful morphing.
Otherwise i still love Sunrizer, Zeeon and the Moog apps.
The strings and voices are non iOS. Sadly there aren‘t really good ones.
Sorry if i posted it here since i don‘t care about mac only or iOS only or whatever only tracks.
So i might just post iOS only tracks here (i don‘t make often) to not confuse people.
It was the thing because i forgot about my old „Galaxyexplorer“ project which i started with and created everything just with iPhone because iOS and „it‘s made just on a freaking phone“ was more in the focus than the music itself.
But believe me that you can indeed create similar tracks like this on iOS devices only if you want.
I wouldn‘t do iOS only tracks now since it‘s a part of my journey now and i love to take the best out of both worlds.
Where iOS might lack a bit is indeed better FX and sample libraries. But i often start with iOS and end on mac and all comes together.
Not sure if there even „iOS music“ exist these days since even most samples and loops are processed and just „played back“ and synths are just software, don‘t matter which OS.
But i like this forum and like to discuss, share and talk about music in general and iOS is still a big part of it.
....oh and most of it is Logic intern indeed, so Logic for iOS could do the same :)
Even Garage Band can come close.
Sadly no iOS DAW for me since i lost NanoStudio.
With NS2 i might use iOS also again for complete productions. The soubd design possibilties will be huge there...

It's inspiring music and lights a fire in our community to aspire to reach for your standards. Please keep sharing your work.

I suspect some of us will sneak off and buy B2 for $250 and Replica XT for $99 and think these Desktop Plug-ins will make the difference. Of course, some of us will need the $2000 Laptop first.

Many will just keep making stuff with IOS for pennies. Put your money where your mind is.

We will just take credit for launching your career... fair is fair B)

Where did you get the female voice?

Breeze 2 from 2CAudio would be my wish reverb for iOS since it´s low on cpu similar to Valhalla but (in my opinion) it sounds much better and especially the depth is unbelievable.
B2 is a great sound design tool since it is a lot more than just a reverb.
I´m a sucker for creative FX like B2, the Alchemy modFX and Replika XT etc.
What i like about B2 is creating 625 meter rooms filled with liquid metal and stuff :)
However, i guess iOS will get closer and closer and in some years it´s just a matter of workflow and taste.
The great thing is you get more knowledge and experience whatever you use and so iOS was my start into this world. Without NanoStudio and my iPhone i would be not here now. So iOS opened me the world and mac was my evolution and now they works great together.
Funny is that this (like most of my latest tracks) are also just performed live and improvised (without quantization) and played on my macbook keyboard as midi input. I learned when and how i like to use my keyboard, seaboard or iPhone as midi input. There are so many great things to learn still and explore. I wish i had started in my younger years with music....not short before my midlife crisis :p
Actually there are a lot iOS sounds in pro productions for cinema and triple A games. It´s already everywhere.
The voice is from my favorite vocal tool....Heavyocity´s Vocalise 2 (which i got for €79 on intro and it might be even cheaper in a sale...which is still not cheap compared to iOS apps but it´s a great and unique tool for me and i would welcome this for iOS). The closest on iOS would be the dream voices presets for Alchemy.....before iOS 11.
Indeed i got B2 on a sale too (i already own the whole 2CAudio package) and i got Replika XT for 50.

  • Oh, and a reason i really love cross-platform tools like DRC, Infinite (at least in parts) and other stuff.
I so wish i could get Zeeon for mac and Dagger for iOS f.e. since i prefer mac for sound design and like iOS for jamming and trying. In theory you can do amazing things with all these tools today.

  • @Cib Thanks for sharing your tips and App/Plug-in recommendations. I can hear the my Laptop whispering...
"Go for the Pro (software) stuff."

Nice track :) The first 30 secs or so reminded me of the film Poltergeist (80s version) for some reason, in a good way :)

Lol...one told me it reminds him of Alice In Wonderland :)
The keys (which are from Keyscape/Omnisphere) is a layer of 3 different keys and each has it‘s own delay and reverb and another reverb is on top of that (stacked track). The keys are also played in a hystorical olympus 5 tone scale.
Again this is also possible with iOS keys but layering is just more easy for me on mac.....and i really LOVE Keyscape!
