Same, but it has been locked down a lot from what it used to let you do
Prior to iOS8.4(ie. iOS8.3) it was possible to browse the app containers but that has since been locked down.
Only way to access those is to apply jailbreak and continue using iFunBox to access the files...

It's up to each developer to provide files out of his own sandbox to iTunes file sharing and Files, local WiFi (builtin Web and WebDav plus FTP servers) and a choice of cloud services like online WebDAV servers (better known in Europe), Dropbox, iCloud, Google Drive (better known in the US).
