Paper like / matte screen

I get sick of finger prints, but love the iPad's display... How bad do these protectors make the screen ?
I bet they give better control over pencil when adjusting parameters as well just like they do in art apps.
Btw Apple pencil is amazing for what we do

The Matt protectors feel good to the touch but you really sacrifice on screen resolution. Something to bare in mind. I hate prints too but on reflection preferred that over loss in resolution.

  • If you use the Pencil for anything remotely Art or just precision get a matte protector and embrace the absolute magic. No exaggeration. It's the difference between walking on ice vs grass.

  • Big difference with the pencil dynamics. Agree with @Proppa

But a word of warning....stay far away from the TechArmor Matte protector. The edge of a fingernail permanently scratched what they market as a “scratch proof” protector. And I’m talking about a deep, very noticeable scratch.

  • I had the techarmor matte protector and I could not get the thing off my iPad for about a week of trying. Luckily I had no scratch in the process.

  • appreciate the feedback, def gonna avoid the tech armor! leaning towards the paper like, i dont really use my ipad for watching netflix n stuff so i can handle some grain i think, should be good for music apps still...and i kinda wanna get into some artsy things as i already have pencil to tweak my parameters
