ApeSoft AU Sampler. Outside of ApeMatrix.

Been using ApeSoft Sampler in AUM a lot and it works off the bat fine press play and the sample plays.

Tried it in GarageBand it shows but when I press play doesn’t trigger the sample.

Also inside the new Cubasis Update it listed but the GUI is blank seems a bit hit and miss at present.

Must say it works great inside the up and coming StageLight DAW which is currently in beta gives you access to your own files the works. Anyone else tried using it outside of ApeMatrix and did you find it hit or miss?

    Yes just tried actually it does so it’s no big shakes it doesn’t show full screen.

    @Lars Thanks for the efforts, hopefully ApeSoft can sort it also found Tardigrain and Voicesynth currently don’t record using there inbuilt Keys and pads. Not sure now if that was the case prior to the update. Voicesynth always been a bit hit or miss.

    From what I know Tardigrain doesn't send Midi so that's most likely the reason it's built-in keyboard can not be used.
    The same is also true for Sunrizer. The keyboard is there for the 'looks' and sound preview but can not be used to record to the host.

    @lfs, hi Lars, that apesoft sampler is actually a part of Apematrix .. it just turns up as an AU if you have that installed but maybe you don’t have that one either?
    @Jumpercollins , thanks for clarifying , phew, glad it’s ok in the small window.. it doesn’t actually need a full screen as far as i can see, so its not enough to make me hold off updatingto 2.6

    @samu ah ok just trying these things now we have full screen wasn’t aware of that. Hopefully devs will see how great Roli is now inside Cubasis and update their keyboard functionally thinking Volt Synth etc. Good to see Model 15 works in its different keyboard states.

    hmm , that’s strange,, the full screen of Apesoft apematrix sampler actually works ok for me now i have updated cubasis to 2.6 , its just a stretched version so i don’t think there is an official ‘full screen’ for it.. i wonder what might be causing @jumpercollins hiccup??

    @Lars Right I think I know the problem if you open the AU Sampler first let it load then go full screen sometimes it works for me sometimes not! Tried a first instance fine but not on a second instance.

    Allesandro kindly provided us with promo codes for the app.

    So far, we're unable to reproduce the issue with Cubasis 2.6 on iOS 12 (loaded several instances, switched between full- and compact-screen several times).

    Please let me know if you can find an exact repro.
