Yes - this is a forum and we don't personally know each other, however I have a 13 year old daughter and it can be difficult just on its own. Cant imagine what you are going through.

I do a bible study with my coworkers daily before we start our work day.

I think this forum offers comfort to many in need of it. I was able to read some of the prayers posted here and it helped me participate. So, even in total ignorance we can show each other the way. I sincerely hope you see positive results from this outpouring of empathy and your daughter finds her way through a difficult time. When your life is darkest it always gets better and time can heal.

Thanks Wayne. Not sure if it’s been a trigger in your daughters case, but there’s a lot of anxiety around in the UK for kids at this time of year - as they’re back in school - new class, sometimes a different school. If they already have a few issues to deal with - autism for example - then things can blow up, which is what we’re dealing with. Not as bad as what you’re going through though, so hope things get better. Feel free to send me a PM if you ever want to vent a bit, you’re not on your own.

I cannot help but give some bullshit advice. Psychoactive drugs are a boon for rebalancing chemicals in the brain ( I am under their spell), but docs tend to use them in combinations which, especially for kids, can be dangerous. We are all medical consumers. Learn about these therapies and hold the pros accountable for their actions... but you probably know this. Sorry. Where was I...

@waynerowand Thinking of you and Chloe here today, sir. I've got two at home myself and while they drive me bonkers I don't know how I'd deal with it if either one got seriously ill. My heart goes out to you and yours - please keep us posted and I hope things improve. You're a true soldier, taking the bullet for those of us who were lucky enough that this isn't a concern. You have my admiration and deep respect.
