Launch control/key midi map?

Is ther a way so that the pads on the novation launch control (or launch key) only transmit midi cc. Example i have a pad mapped to trigger recording but unfortunately it triggers a note at the same time.

There is a launch control editor I believe where you can assign midi cc to templates. Maybe download that if you haven’t already?

You need to use a editor to change which Midi messages Novation Launch control responds to. If you are lucky maybe one of the built in user/factory templates (8 of each i believe) transmits midi cc rather than midi note for the pads.

You can use MidiFire to map/remap/filter all MIDi data if the receiving instrument isn't hardwired to take input from all attached midi devices.
With Launchkey, have you tried swapping to InControl mode (Press the InControl button) ? When using InControl it sends the pads on a different midi port, so you can get your synth to receive on the normal port, and the controls to respond to the other ?

Anyone else losing the Groovebox cc control lately ?
Has been fine for me up to now, although I haven't used it for a couple of weeks. I can try with my MKII 25 key Launchkey if you've got reproduceable steps ?
