Dare you to also try this in Cubasis 😜
Thats nice! But.. what about midi timing, is the sequencer struggling to keep solid playback timing?
Whenever I change presets on 1 full screen instance of SM1 it crashes

iOS 12 is a step in the right direction. Grateful for an iOS upgrade that doesn't break all our code. 🙏
Number of AU instances may depend on what else you are currently using and how you are using them in your project. On one of my projects, everything was working fine in Cubasis and then it started crackling. I tried to remember what changes I made to cause that happen. Then I started undoing my changes and testing the sound and realized the Roomworks SE Reverb effect I added to the native Cubasis drums track was causing the crackling on other SM1 AU tracks (even though SM1 tracks also had Roomworks SE reverb added to them that did not cause the issue). After I removed the reverb from the drums track, no crackling.
Also reduce Polyphony to 4 voices (min) on SM1 AU tracks to reduce crackling.
Hello there. thanks for the Info,,i did reduce the polyphony to 4 and just 4/5 tracks but cubasis wasn’t having it 😂😂😂I thinks it’s more of a SM1 and Cubasis compatibility issue.SM1 frequently crashes as an au even just by changing preset for like 3/4 times or if I tap on the fullscreen view button in cubasis SM1 crashes sometimes
