  • My Air is running fine if not a little better

  • It's run better for me on air 1. I had trouble with using open in (audioshare), it would take forever in ios 11 to show up. Now it's works great. Glad this is fixed for me.

  • how is the itouch doing with ios12? I’m still on the fence buying a new mp3-player :-)

  • My air2 seems to be running much much better than It did on iOS 12

My bad. I meant ios 11

  • My air 1 is also much much better than it was on ios 11.

  • I finally upgraded my Air2 ,after reading stuff here. So my experience,
On heavy cpu projects the performance seems the same . When audio-glitches start to come , scrolling ,switching apps kills the audio like before.
But at least , launching few apps with 64 buffer (tonestack, turnado) ,no more crackles :)
I still miss iOS 9.... Hopefully Apple will continue optimizing iOS 12....

PS. My iphone 5s ,definitely is better with ios 12 .Will wait some days to check battery draining

Keep in mind that when you do an iOS update it actually takes a few days to settle into it's proper performance. The very fact it runs the same as before on launch day is surprising as hell. It can only get better from here.

It's running really snappy on mine. Can't say much about battery life as I seem to have fried my battery by keeping it running off a USB charger 90% of the time and letting it die completely when not connected.

  • iOS 12 is what I wanted for ages not an upgrade that just keeps adding more and more clutter but a real take stock and optimisation of iOS. It seems Apple has come to its senses let's hope they continue refining things, iTunes, the AppStore, Files, CEOs.... >:)

    eww that sounds horrifying o.O
thanks for the info! Maybe I’ll get an iphone SE because these seem to cost the same nowadays...

Nope, still the same. At least it works better on low-buffer setting.
