Roli SongMaker Kit + BeatMaker 3 for iPad!
Long time reader 1st time poster here. Been working on transitioning from desktop into iOS equipment, apps, and workflows, and this forum has been a huge help. Just grabbed the Roli set up about a week ago and experimented in the various hosts on iOS, this thing, paired with BM3 feels like the answer to our issues, even though you can't use MPE yet in it. It took a little messing around, and there isn't much info we found out there to help, but we finally figured out how to get everything working in BM3: the loop block for transport controls, the lightpad block for drums, and the seaboard block for keys. Since we've learned so much about iOS music production through the audiobus community, we thought we'd share a helpful tutorial we put together to help you get Roli SongMaker kit + BeatMaker 3 working together!
