I don’t recognise London when I visit now, it’s all shiny and jam packed with people.

Worked for The Beatles...
Where is that? I'm representing Cascadia Central, I think. Portland, OR, USA.
Vancouver BC, but I guess technically that’s The South part of Cascadia North haha
Love it here besides the expen$$$$ive housing and opioid/homeless problems.

A mile in which direction? I lived in and around DC for 15 years or so.
I can verify this as true.
Do you mean the old one?
We have a pretty good electronic open mic here in PDX called Volt Divers. No software allowed though!
Takoma Park/Silver Spring.
I love Vancouver BC.
Looks like we're both off. I'm in Cascadia South. You're in Cascadia Central. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cascadia_(bioregion)
Hopping on the MAX with a small electronic setup up to play an open mic seems like a fun idea. I bookmarked it in case I get brave enough to do a solo performance. I’ve never performed electronic before other than once with just my iPad, Xkey 37, and a battery amp.
Looks like analog with firmware is allowed, and apparently also very digital things, but I mostly see people doing modular or something very analog.
Aww yeah, I work in Vancouver
West Coast Express for life
Deptford still has it's character, but for how long is uncertain. We a have a Costa now unfortunately and the "Fuck Off Costa" repeatedly scrawled across and washed off will eventually give in as the Gentifrication tide is unstoppable. I wouldn't mind if the betting shops disappeared though.![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)

Is that restaurant The Orient still in Deptford Hight Street?
Maybe we should meet up in a field somewhere in central Washington. One of you have a battery powered router for LINK purposes?![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Yeah, it's mostly modular (was all modular at the start) but I've seen people use MPCs and other sequencers. I think as long as it's a "designed entirely for music making" device their lines between software and hardware are mushy. I bet they'd be down if someone showed up with an Amiga and a DX-7.
Let me know if you go down!
I was convicted of espionage and am unable to cross the border, however all I need to do is create a wifi hotspot on my iPhone 4S and then I can Link my iPads. Old spy trick!
The US/Canada border is about 5.5 hours away from pdx. A little too far for a quick jump but perhaps we should one day get a group to meet at the border and create the first realtime, international LINK jam.
Yeah that's still there
The Zero Ave Link Band?

Okay will do. I’ll have to work up the courage. I’m used to being behind drums or keyboards and never solo. I think the Volcas (Keys, Bass, Beats) should be up to the task and it sounds like if it’s a total screw up of a performance people may not care. Volcas are better than I give them credit, but it’s hard with 16 steps.
Do you ever perform at them?
Border Patrol might shut it down!
I am about an hour south of the STL.
Thats all Cursed Earth
Right across the Juan De Fuca Strait from you, in Port Angeles, WA![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
