Beatmaker for Apple Watch 4?
Loofi
I hope he releases it by October 5. That’s when mine arrives
What’s a loofi? Do I need one ?
It’s like loopy but for chiptune.
Does this mean the BM3 update is ready?
No, I’m pretty sure that he have take some time off the BM3.1 project and will release another phenomenal music app!
Hold in mind that current BM3.0.10 is pretty useful without any specific hiccup (for me at least on iPad Pro 12.9” 2017)...
Maybe it means he needs money to finish it
If so, please everyone, buy some of the IAP into Beatmaker 3 and he can have some extra cash!
For the most part yes, but I sure wish we had got something like a BM3.0.2 where AU parameter 1 could be automated like it apparently was for months in the beta. That is the only real standout super obvious bug for me where the long wait would not have perplexed me. If not for that I would say 'It's totally fine, use it as is, updates (if ever) are a bonus'.
Exactly this. Perhaps we will see resolution on the mystery of the BM3 update when the new iPad is released.
What’s significant about the connection with a new iPad release ?

I think BM3 marches to the beat of its own maker. Really really really hope for the sake of love, peace and groovy vibes that 3.1 drops before the pixel project.
This has to be part of bm3 somehow, like an iap etc. There’s no way that a developer would abandon their customers by reprioritising and sitting on the release of an update that had already supposedly fixed some pretty important bugs, in place of a new app. That would be hard to reconcile for users.
Hehe, like I say, love, peace and groovy vibes potentialy hang in the balance. But yah, for me its the ‘AU parameter one automation fix’ first and I am more than cool if he induldges in his self driving mars rocket programs etc. But hey its his world. I am just a paid fare whos time on the meter has long past.
And whatever fix is needed to revive Rozeta in BM3. Other than that, I don’t care all that much about 3.1.
Oh right, of course! Yes that actually is a big one. Ok two it is.

Dob't ho[e this means less attention to his older BM3 project
Wish other DAWs would implement Ableton Link (with start/stop).. If BM3 can do it (and it works very well), there is no excuse for others not to follow...
Think I got it...
Well, at least I have an IPad.. I do not have a Mac to run Alchemy..
MIDI Learn (yea probably not, but one can dream)
You should tweet that over to Mathieu... hilarious
Alchemy is only available as part of Logic? If so, that’s too bad ... Logic is not for me.
The thing that bothers me with BM3 is that it's so close to perfect. Maybe the list of bugs & issues has grown so large that it's going to take a long time to fix.
What really annoys me is the audio tracks. The way Mathieu decided to route the audio is highly abnormal in that it doesn't just render the incoming audio, it goes through an extra stage in the app itself. This is only in the song mode so I don't think it was intentional.
It really sucks to do a perfect take and not be able to use it because it has a small glitch occuring in the recorded audio. Since you can't record multiple channels/tracks simultaneously in scene mode there is no way around it.
The other big bug is the not recording issue. Unless you're constantly checking to make sure your clip is actually recording you can lose a perfect take this way too.
I've put in crazy hours learning BM3. It's not so easy with the limited manual and there really isn't any videos that go beyond the basics. I'm really hoping it has a future and doesn't end up like a Retronyms app (amazing concepts that become abandoned because the company moves at lightspeed from one project to the next.)
Alchemy is owned by Apple, acquired from Camel Audio several years ago. It's worth the entire price of Logic but, AFAIK, you have to run Logic to use it.
Or mainstage...
Or, as many of us, keep an iPad in the closet with iOS10.x and run Alchemy...
