  • I have it, but don't use it. It's too basic and the sample time is too short. It's good for very short one shot sounds, but little else. Bloops, bleeps, fart sounds etc., not very useful for me.

  • Oh…I forget it….is the first app to have Audiobus :-)

  • On sale. $2,69 to $0,99.

  • Very fun app. 12 bit samples, just enough control over them and 12 channel multi-timbral. Plus, funky generated beats.

  • Got it! For .99 vents it's a no brainer. :)

  • ooh -- is it like an sk1?

of course it is, you dumdum. read the app description!

  • @papertiger it also allows you to play all of the hits

  • Always ignored this as (surely!) being too, well, simpleton. But easy in/easy out is good...

  • I didn't realize the good Sir had explicit SynthStation 25 support. Might be time to take that bad boy out of the closet.

  • @johnnyGoodyear it fronts like an SK-1 but it's secretly far more musical. Watch the last synthstation video starting at 0:55.

It samples via audiobus like a champ and has full MIDI compatibility (12 part multi-timbral!). It is not a 'replicate this sound' sampler. It fecks the sound up some... in a good way. Like, instead of 'but once I go beyond an octave from my original sample it starts to sound off' it's more like 'once I go beyond an octave from my original sample it starts to sound magical'.

Neither of these videos show the control screens for adjusting the envelope and other bits of fun times. I just want more storage but I'm a hoarder.

  • I just downloaded sir sampleton AND elsa because sampling all the time, at work, on the commute home and Jonsi from Sigur Ros.

  • I'm buying it because of the 'hits' vid and because it has the best name ever

  • Another with AB use cases:

    Sorry, totally love this app.

  • Oh dear. S'posed to be wrapping presents for Consumption Day, but that last bit of Sunriser into Sir just booked at least the next hour of my diminishing time.

    Thanks. I think.

  • I'm supposed to be wrapping too but instead I've seeped back onto here for that Sir Simpleton link, bang goes the next two hours then...

  • Good little app this - handy for grabbing bits and bobs without having to load up the whole World, and it has a built in disco - bonus!

  • My kids (and often their friends) love this app to pieces!
