I used to use filtratron as a delay before i got au delays. Haven’t used it recently.
Turnado is great. Most sounds are good to great and It’s easy to map to a controller
Just do yourself a favor. Buy ALL of @Chris_Randall / Audio Damage's stuff.
Honestly, between @brambos 's stuff, Audio Damage's stuff, and lately FAC's stuff running in AUM pretty much the rest of the millions of dollars of apps stuffed in my iPad are just sitting there collecting bit-dust.
I just wish AD would go back and work on the MIDI implementation in Neuron so it can send midi in AU mode AND also be automated/controlled via host midi/learning.
Well, I'm not sure, but I've been trying to get a beat going with the VCO at 3-5 hz, maybe that's doing it, or maybe its just not stable
I'll also add that the best results, especially when using the VCO come from moving the knobs just a step (one led light) at a time and seeing what that does. It takes some patience to get cool stuff.
I’m pretty sure I’ll end up with Turnado eventually.
Thanks. I’ll give that patience thing a go.
I really don't get how people can't get something good out of it. Maybe the bipolar controls are confusing?
It has yet to crash on me...
Depending of how I use it, it can be freakin great. This is coming from a complete appaholic that has everything and still loves the sound of it. I like it.
I perused the you tube tutorials but didn’t find a straight answer. Can you trigger it with your midi keyboard?
You can control all the dials by midi
The single oscillator in the Filtatron can also be used as a bass/drone synth
(So yeah, I would love to see FIltatron get an AUv3 treatment).
And of course, the bass can be played "live" by the pad. It really sounds fab.
i find it unuseful given the apps that have followed it. Filterstation, turnado etc.
