All we need now is a web AU extension app that can act as a web browser inside AUM etc along with the web audio module mentioned in this video and you could have you VSTs on your iPad every time you have internet!

That’s true would need the Chrome browser to work, I can get some of these audio experiments written with the API to work on my iPad within the Google Chrome App.

The problem is that most of the audio stuff only works in a specific browsers. Even though Safari and Chrome were build from the same common ground, a lot of audio stuff just doesn't work in both. And let's not even begin about Firefox, Edge and Opera... The most fun audio stuff was made in Flash which was cross browser and cross platform, is dead. But Flash is dead...
