How You dealing with it? I have started my producing music journey only on ipad. But now I own also Ableton and lots of sound in it.
It's a question only for those with both - computer and ipad. Where You composing, building chords, melodies.

    Loopback for macOS - creating audio devices
    Dante for audio between macOS & Windows
    MIDI Network Session for MIDI routing

    For chords melodies I use J74 Progressive
