One unforeseen issue with my appoholism is the (rather surprising) depth of a lot of music apps, doesn’t really lend themselves to being part of a big collection. Monster synths, folders full of DAW’s, mind bending multi track loopers, sequenced automated synced multi-effects... Half the shit I’ve bought, I haven’t fully explored. That’s why I prefer the toy-like apps, at this point, in the addiction. They’re fun, and lend themselves to collecting, like a basket full of little percussion instruments, rather than a room full of orchestral instruments you’ll never have any idea how to play.
