For the xequence dev

Hi

I saw your app is now £4.99

I’m wondering if your app could be used as a live controller for KEW

Does it control fx parameters in real time as well as volume etc

Also would I need the iap ( which ones) to modulate the fx

Thanks

Does the Korg app have CC#s listed for it's parameters?

I think Xequence can do 4 Controllers at entry level with "unlimited controllers" as an IAP.

    @SevenSystems Is this right?

    • PolyHymnia - Generative Music £3.99
    • Unlimited tracks £9.99
    • Up to 12 controllers £1.99

I just had a look at the KEW manual but can't see any CCs listed for the parameters.

    Anyone know different?

Does this mean that to control or sequence drum patterns one needs to get the drum maps iap??

  • @mindscaper thanks for your interest -- I didn't check KEW specifically, but if it can handle CCs, then yes... Xequence has a very good keyboard and controller section with regular control ribbons, motion control, control via key touch position etc... you can control up to three parameters at once from the keyboard, and sequence up to 12 per instrument if you get the $2 IAP.

Note though that it does not yet support MPE.

Does KEW have midi specs for changing patterns?

I don't have Korg Electribe Wave myself.

But for Xequence to control anything in KEW, we'll need to know if KEW has midi CCs for those parameters.

Yep, then it's all sorted! Just assign any CCs of your liking to an instrument in Xequence, go to KEW and activate MIDI learn, and then back in Xeq move the controller slider on the keyboard screen.
