Xequence midi files

Hi!
I can’t figure out to load several midi files into one track in Xequence.
When import/load a midi file it works but when I import another one it just opens a new project with the new midi file.
Anyone know how to do this?
Thanks

You have to copy the imported pattern to the clipboard, then re-open the previous project and paste it where you want it. Be sure to save the original project before opening then next midi file. You don’t need to save the “new” midi file project that opens.

Thank you @wim. I read the manual but couldn’t find that how to do it

  • It’s kind of an odd system. I thought there must be a better way the first time I figured it out.

  • Yes, aware of it. The current system is really meant to do an as-complete-and-accurate-as-possible import of arbitrarily complex MIDI files, which I think works extremely well.

The other use case ("quickly import only the notes of a single track MIDI file at the current song position and track") is on the roadmap!
