Thanks for posting the info/link, @mgmg4871. A great update, looking forward to it! I hope he can soon add more steps to the grid so that 1/16 and 1/32nd notes can be added to the probabilities…
In the vid, it looks like he's using Cubasis to drive the MidiClock. Midi out to QuNexus for mixing or only to show that Robotic can send out Midi? I hope/assume the update provides VM midi out also…
Great & simple app!
Was just playing around with it yesterday with Turnado in the FX slot, brilliant stuff!
I'm installing the update now… Looking forward to playing w/ the midi update...
Hmm, I'm trying Robotic Drums w/ Cubasis. Great recognition of MIDI, have to manually map the notes, but the set-up makes it pretty quick and easy. But, I can't figure out how to mute Robotic and only listen to the Cubasis set, either when going direct midi only or w/ AudioBus running… Has anyone else been able to do this?
I really hope that the developer will add more steps to the grid soon so that beats at least 16ths can benefit from the probability feature. Would be great to have up to 1/64ths and triplets!
You need to go into the "Oscillator" tab in the "voice/seq" section for each pattern, and turn down all the dials to zero. This will mute the internal sounds, and only the MIDI Notes will come through.
Thanks, @Seangarland! I had played around w/ that some before but it didn't seem to work. I'm noticing now that it seems like you also have to make sure to have the Noise Level dials at zero, also, on the Noise tab... That's probably what was going on.
Dev is adding mute and solo and pan buttons in next update.
@mgmg4871, cool, good news! And bumping up the grid level to 1/16ths, at least :-)
How about other time signatures?
It's a good app by the way, for those who haven't bought it.
