First load a sound to a pad (Tweak -> Sounds).
Then tap 'Edit Sound' and 'Slice Loop'. (Either Auto or Manual number of slices. You can also audition the loop there and press 'Done'). After that the pad should play in sync with the project.
On the same page there is also an option to 'Chop to Pads'.
