Zeeon midi learn issue?

Zeeon will not remember my midi learn functions, either in stand alone or audiobus.
(Sunrizer working great though)
Anyone else?

  • Sorry misspell...”issue”

  • Oh, I thought it was only me. I experience the same. I try to control the filter's cut-off, resso and intensity and it always forgets at least one of them when I close and reopen.

I've brought this issue up with the developer several times this year and not got any response back that it was being looked at.

Particularly the midi learn issue between layers 1 & 2.

Real shame, love Zeeon, but depend heavily on midi-learnable synths for my setup.

Such a great synth but a bit annoying reassigning midi learn.

  • Bump....its gotten to the point I hesitate to reach for zeeon.
Not remembering midi learn (either standalone or au) is a total PIA.
Not much chatter about this, leads me to think that either it doesnt bother people or that its not being used; both i find hard to believe.

    Ditto unfortunately.

Has anybody heard word from @giku_beepstreet about the Zeeon Midi Learn issues?

I know he's busy on Drambo, but confirmation/acknowledgement of the issue would go some way.

    Fingers crossed!

Oh interesting. [EDIT: It looks like this doesnt even save AU parameters in the host... unfortunately. Yeah that leaves the app useless for me since MIDI bindings are everything]

Now, since most of our hosts can manage AU parameters is this problem really a problem? Won’t the host parameter bindings be saved in the host preset? If there’s a workaround, I could see why Beepstreet has not made this a priority.

  • I also get this disappearing UI very often in the standalone version.

  • So sad that Zeeon forgets midi learn. It would be one of my favourite synths but this way it is really annoying…

  • Maybe for me it is the easiest way to recreate a Zeeon like Synth in Drambo? Drambo has not that midilearn forget problem?
